Been many places and we exepcted "y'all" when we got here, but did you know that "ya'll" is singular?! "ALL y'all" is the plural version of this!

And the sweet tea: it's good, but leaves FUZZ on my teeth. Being the Yanks we are, we have to dilute it with the "non-sweet" stuff.

And evidently, you can say anything about or to someone as long as you end or preface with a "Bless their heart!"

God Bless,
TAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14168956.post-1146132677981798562006-04-27T06:11:00.000-04:002006-04-27T06:11:00.000-04:00I managed an 87% (Dixie Royal), but that isn't sur...I managed an 87% (Dixie Royal), but that isn't surprising. I'm frequently asked (or commented on) by customers on the phone, "you're not from New Jersey." Even after not living in the South for over 15 years, my voice still gives me away.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14168956.post-1146109991983923972006-04-26T23:53:00.000-04:002006-04-26T23:53:00.000-04:00I scored the same as Father. A lot of families, particularly in Dayton, have Appalachian roots, including the Cornetts.

I hear about Cornetts all over this area, though I don't think I'm related to any of them. Many came from Kentucky, while my branch set roots in the Eastern part of the state.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14168956.post-1146074535881660562006-04-26T14:02:00.000-04:002006-04-26T14:02:00.000-04:00Fr. That's kind of legit, since I have lots of family in the region and spent my childhood in rural Virginia.

However, I don't like my tea so sweetened that's it's practically syrup, which reduces my southern credibility.mrsdarwinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03446744635277205867noreply@blogger.com
