Pope's blog.)

It’s occurred to me that the fundamental homosexual agenda is to turn the tables on Christians – make us “go into the closet,” make us hide who we are when in public, make us be afraid to speak about what we believe in the workplace, in the public square; make us hide ourselves and live in fear of being caught, as they felt they were forced to do by Christianity. The difference is, theirs is sin, ours is Truth.

A priest at my parish has been warning us for several years of a coming "white martyrdom" that may indeed turn red. In confession he reminds the penitent to pray for our country, and Catholics.

Thank you Father for warning people. Really active persecution will come when people who used to be on your side are against you and the rest of the population won't get involved. then the real persecution can start. We are close to it now. There is a massive assumption that Christians and Catholics in particular are wrong. There is no offense, in the mind of many, when wrong people are suppressed. The Church wanted to be part of a civil society, a good citizen. But we are not allowed be good citizens when what we believe is defined as uncivil. rcghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09131930849106490711noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14168956.post-1366434614765764912015-05-18T18:42:03.956-04:002015-05-18T18:42:03.956-04:00Once again I struggle with the sin of envy--how I ...Once again I struggle with the sin of envy--how I wish I were part of your congregation hearing this homily!! Its endorsed by our own government and perpetuated by the media and capitalists with deep pockets that can afford to fund and propagate their agenda. Another group that is quietly participating in that persecution are former or progressive Catholics who bought into the liberal agenda supported by so many, and many times those attacks yield the most damage. I also fear things are going to get a lot worse.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14168956.post-51616865906005217482015-05-17T22:20:21.629-04:002015-05-17T22:20:21.629-04:00You preached truly and well.
