I finally surrendered to the "New Blogger" collective. Resistance is futile.
Allegedly, this is a lot easier. We'll see; so far, it seems the same, but with more bells and whistles. As it is, some of what I had on my page has gone away, so now I must get it back.
But--I did get to change the color. I thought green for Ordinary Time would be nice. What do you think?
Hi Father! The color itself is nice but I find it too dark to read on comfortably...
ReplyDeleteI like the green, but the gray lettering is a little too light.
ReplyDeleteI would stick with the green, but darken the font colour, or change it to dark blue maybe, or lighten the green. But then that would not be a nice green.
ReplyDeleteWay too hard to read--and readability is extremely important. Personally, I like consistency for a blog and would stick with a color and use it as my identity. But then again, I don't have a blog so...
ReplyDeleteliturgical colors is a fab. idea!
ReplyDeleteI've been on the new Blogger for a long time but am still using my old Classic template (which the new Blogger blessedly allows you to do). I've never seen a compelling reason to go with the new template system, especially since the only annoying thing about editing my template by hand was waiting for 1000+ pages to republish—an annoyance eliminated by the new Blogger's dynamic page creation. Besides, the TicTac theme (a variant of which I use) wasn't translated well to the new template system.
ReplyDeleteWE like your green.
ReplyDeleteHaving just finished Disc 4 of Ballykissangel, green is my new fave color (or colour...). And if it isn't growing nearer to St. Padraig's Day, I'll eat my shamrock.
ReplyDeleteI agree that the color is a bit harder to read. (But then, I probably shouldn't talk. Mine is almost impossible to read, and I do nothing about it.) Finally, I don't really care, just so long as the "Fr. Martin Content" doesn't change...
ReplyDeleteYour blog is great in ANY color!! I like the liturgical connection, but I would read you faithfully .... even in SHOCKING PINK!! Keep up the great work.It is much appreciated.
ReplyDeleteTis a bit hard to read.
ReplyDeleteMark:
ReplyDeleteDon't hold your breath for "shocking pink" . . .
Nice, I like the wider columns. The color looks good too. I have no problem reading the text on my screen.
ReplyDeleteRecently came across your blog. I like how the site looks, the green color isnt too pale or too dark. I like the new blogger because I can do my Google Mail and blog posts without having to log into various sites at once.
ReplyDeleteVery nice!
ReplyDeleteIt looks wonderful Father!
