HAHAHAHA!!

It's PERFECT. No other words are needed!!

Hope the visit by the Archbishop went well. It is a wonderful and Godly thing to have Adoration for that long and God's blessings are unimaginable for this worship.

I have never understood how a Catholic could be a Republican. The Republican Party is all about helping corporations, and the Democratic Party is all about helping people. I don't have to wonder how Jesus would vote.

I have never understood how a person can be a Catholic and a Republican. Republicans help corporations, and Democrats help people. How do you think Jesus would vote?

Aren't corporations made up of people?

How do you know how Jesus would have voted? I'd love to know how you know.

The Democratic Party will never have credibility as "compassionate" as long as they don't give a **** about unborn children.

Just to be clear, I'm not a Republican. The majority of candidates I voted for yesterday were not Republican.

Yesterday, a bunch of pro life candidates won nationwide. That alone means a happy day, don't you think?

I am a Democrat, and I am pro-life. Every Democrat that I know is pro-life. So are the Republicans I know. I am against abortion, the death penalty, war, poverty, our consumer society, and rich getting richer while poor get poorer.

Yesterday a bunch of people who claim to be pro life were elected. The Republicans were in charge of our country for six years and what was done about abortion? - absolutely nothing! They are simply throwing around words to get people to vote for them, and I am always so amazed that it actually works. In the meantime, during those 6 years, life got a whole lot tougher for the poor and the sick, and a whole lot better for the rich.

I know who Jesus would have voted for, and anyone who reads the Gospels would know too.

Well, you're right about the GOP being too much talk on prolife; that's why the grass-roots insurgency that has been taking place in the GOP is so good--so that the talk-but-do-little crowd pays a price. (I am very critical of the GOP on the prolife issue; but I wouldn't agree they did "nothing"; they did a little and they could have done much more, or at least tried.)

I'm delighted to hear you say "every Democrat I know is prolife"--because we have so few who hold office. We desperately need Democrats who will fight to overturn Roe v. Wade and restore legal protection to the unborn to get elected.

Right now, the GOP can say, "where else will you go?" Having both Ds and Rs who will seek laws against abortion would be a huge help. So please get those pro-life Democrats you know to seek office!

Fr. Sorry about the library. If we had had a library levy on my ballot, I'd would have voted for it without a second thought.

While there isn't much being done to make abortion illegal, I do see signs of progress.

Abortion clinics are being closed, babies and families being saved, and I consider that they are being held to the same standards as a normal out patient surgical center as very very good news.

To Sarah, I just want to elect who ever will help create good, permanent jobs, irregardless of party affliation

Your happiness obviously exceeded mine, Martin, though I certainly won't begrudge you yours.

Obviously you have your work cut out for you explaining why the Dem's platform is incompatible with Catholic teaching, and not solely because of its stands on abortion and gay marriage, though those are clearly deal breakers.
