There's a nice piece in this mornings San Diego Union Tribune about a local Benedictine monk who has been their beekeeper for 42 years. He teaches Bible classes @ Camp Pendleton and uses bees as a parable for Jesus' sacrifice and the spread of Christianity. Reminds me of the superb flick, Ulee's Gold.
