My classmate, Father Larry Gearhart, provides penetrating but too-infrequent reflections at his blog, Eyes of Faith.
Today, I happed upon this beautiful reflection on Our Lady, the Hail Mary prayer so familiar to Catholics, and on Hebrew poetry.

It is a good site; I need to spend more time there.
Excellent! Another priestly blog. (Or perhaps I should say another excellent priestly blog.)
Thanks, Father!
Fr Gearhart's site is structured as to make it almost impossible to post a comment.
'A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, even as I have loved you, that you also love one another.'
I don't think that Jesus was bothered which way a Priest would face or what musical instrument his disciples played. Oh, and he almost certainly would not have understood one word of Latin liturgy.
