I don't know how I did it, but for the last few days, Amy Welborn, the queen of the Catholic blogosphere, decided I was the cat's meow. She kept linking items here!
The result was a huge spike in otherwise modest, but much appreciated, traffic.
Alas, now I'm yesterday's news, and the traffic has slowed. Well--you know the old, Latin saying: sic semper gloria blogospheri.

I must say, Fr. Martin, your Latin is good enough to be humerous.
Have you ever tried submitting posts to religious Carnivals? They really boost your hits.
Here is a link to one ...
Back in March, Amy linked to me 3 days in a row, and then a couple of other times during the month. It was my best month ever.
Since then, it's been a steady decline each month.
;)
Ah, the "readership spike" is always fun. I myself am often guilty of pageview tunnel vision. And besides, have no fear. We loyal followers will always be here. (Course, we won't impact the traffic numbers much.)
Well Father, you blog is sure a hit with some of my friends.
And I second Fr. Gearhart's Latin praise.
(Also, I have no idea what that first post was "anonymous." Weird.)
I can't get her to link to me no matter what--and I even posted a lengthy defense of her against the slanderous piece in Culture War Magazine. You're obviously one of the illuminati
I came here from Amy's blog, but you're now on my list of "check daily" blogs. I've enjoyed reading.
I guess the daily groupies of the Fr. Fox blog would be the Johns and Marys ;-)
Down the road I can say "I knew Father Fox's blog before it was big time." :)
- or as Father Anthony in our community says, "Sic transit Gloria Swanson".
