We're having a heat wave...

Today the temperature crossed the freezing line for the first time in many days; not only that, it's actually sunny! so all that wretched stuff God throws at us from time to time is melting, melting! And, it's actually going to stay above freezing, overnight!

amen!
I was walking around town here in MI tonight, and for the first time in I-don't-know-how-long, the wind actually wasn't frigid!

We are enjoying the same trend in Minnesota as well: mid-40s yesterday and today!

In TO its a balmy 3 C (37F). Sidewalks are wet and the snow piles are shrinking.

Are you getting the rain there Father? It sure is a foggy, wet day here in Cincy...
I have a question completely off the subject...when priests are assigned to a parish, do you have to bring your own furniture with you? Or is there furniture already in the rectory that you can use?
I was also wondering about when seminarians are assigned to a parish for their internship...is there a room that they can use already furnished? Hope you don't mind me asking...
Hope you're having a blessed day, Father!

Fr. Martin, ecause you have several times said, "Father Ang and I", without mentioning the third priest (I forget what his name was, sorry), I wonder if the third priest is still there and if not how can you and the older priest possibly humanly handle all the responsibilities yourselves? I pray for more help for you.

Father Tom, our parochial vicar (aka associate) is still assigned here, but his health has severely limited his activity, so my recent posts haven't mentioned him much. Please keep him in your prayers; he had Mass this morning, for the first time in a month.

Thank you for the response, Father. I will add Father Tom to my prayer list, and continue to hope there will be more priests soon.
