Please bail me out of jail...

...in order to benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association.

On Thursday, January 8, A.D. 2009, I'll be in "jail" at Gover's Harley-Davidson in Piqua, Ohio, from Noon to 1 pm.

"Bail" is $800; either that or I guess they keep me!

If you want to take part, you can do so by going to this site.

As you know, many people suffer from this debilitating disease, and research continues on it. Your donation will help send kids to camp, provide leg braces and wheelchairs, and above all, support progress for a cure.

Thanks for your help!

Oh Father - this is just delicious! There is apparently a rash of priestly arrests coming early in the new year. Your brother priest - Fr. Eric Bowman is being arrested on Jan 7.

Can people come to the 'jail' and see you locked up? That might be a lot of fun.

You're going to the motorcycle place and Fr. Eric's going to the Texas Roadhouse Restaurant. They want $1300 to bail him out AND he's at a steak place. ???

Goodness - I have a couple of other suggestions for other arrests - you know priests that I know...

How much to keep you locked up for two hours instead of one?

Thanks for the laugh, Father Williams.

How much are you offering?

Please pray for my cousin Erik with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. He is now 21 years old and quite debilitated, requiring a lot of assistance for all activities of daily living. Please pray for his soul - his faith was once strong and now is not. God bless you for agreeing to be arrested for an hour or two for this worthy cause.
