Chick-Fil-A: tastes like freedom

I finally made it out to Chick-Fil-A today. I drove out to Kenwood and got in line, only to remember -- thankfully before I got to the counter! -- that I had no cash! So I stepped out of line, and to get to my bank I had to go a half mile down Montgomery Road -- a big deal if you know the intersection. But, I had come this far! So down to the bank, and back, for a sandwich and lemonade. As the lady gave me my drink I said, "I'm sorry I couldn't come last Wednesday. I am sorry the politicians are trying to bully your company."

Oh, but according to many of my Facebook friends, they deserve it! Because they are bad, bad, bad. And because they are bigots. Speaking of which, have you seen the promos for "The New Normal" on NBC? Seems the entertainment folks have decided to ditch subtlety and go straight to propaganda. And if you don't agree you are a "bigot," according to a VERY cute little girl.

If you disagree with a liberal, you are a) a bigot, b) a homophobe, c) a hatemonger, d) violent, e) the liberal insult of the day. Their response to a reasoned argument is usually to call you a name or to end the conversation with "I disagree with you!" as though disagreement is an argument. I think we can thank John Dewey and the educrats for the inability of so many to use their reason. It has been supplanted by feelings.
